Body
Take a few minutes to slow down and experience Salt Creek Beach in a different way. Through simple guided observations and conversation, we’ll look closely, immerse ourselves in the landscape, listen deeply and discover the connections that surround us every day.
After a short walk from the parking lot to the sand, participants will explore how the ABCs of nature (Awe, Belonging, and Contemplation) can come together to bring us closer to nature and one another.
Participants are encouraged to bring water and wear closed-toe shoes and sun protection. A yoga mat or portable chair is recommended if you are not comfortable sitting on the ground. Expect to quiet your cellphones during the program.
The program is free and parking is $1 per hour.
Advance registration is required. Learn more and register for Pause and Wonder at Salt Creek Beach.
For questions, please contact Interpretive Programs Curator Nathan Taxel at Nathan.Taxel@parks.oc.gov.
Weather, including high temperatures, may cancel the program.
