Take a few minutes to slow down and experience Carbon Canyon Regional Park in a different way. Through simple guided observations and conversation, we’ll look closely, immerse ourselves in the landscape, listen deeply and discover the connections that surround us every day.
After a leisurely paced 1-mile walk from the parking lot to the Redwood grove, participants will explore how the ABCs of nature (Awe, Belonging, and Contemplation) can come together to bring us closer to nature and one another.
Participants are encouraged to bring water and wear closed-toe shoes and sun protection. A yoga mat or portable chair is recommended if you are not comfortable sitting on the ground. Expect to quiet your cellphones during the program.
The program is free and parking is $5 per vehicle.
Advance registration is required. Learn more and register for Pause and Wonder in the Redwoods at Carbon Canyon.
