Body
Take a few minutes to slow down and experience Laguna Coast Wilderness in a different way. Through simple guided observations and conversation, we’ll look closely, immerse ourselves in the landscape, listen deeply and discover the connections that surround us every day.
In this accessible and stationary experience on the Nix Nature Center patio, participants will explore how the ABCs of Nature (Awe, Belonging and Contemplation) can come together to bring us closer to nature and one another.
Participants must bring plenty of water, wear closed-toe shoes and sun protection. A yoga mat or portable chair is recommended. Sitting materials will be provided for those who need them. Expect to quiet your cellphones during the program.
This program is designed for ages 16 and older. Participants will be asked to sign a waiver at the beginning of the program.
Parking is $3 per vehicle. Carpooling is encouraged due to limited parking.
Advance registration required. Learn more and register for Pause and Wonder at Laguna Coast Wilderness Park.
