Please join us at the Native Plant Nursery located at the Augustine Staging Area. Depending on the needs of the nursery, we will be collecting acorns, potting, watering, or planting the oaks. All work at the nursery is community-driven, and the plants grown will help to enhance the native habitat of the Open Space!
Working with us at the plant nursery is a great way to grow your community and cultivate knowledge about local native plants, ecology, and wildlife. All oaks will be used for native habitat restoration within the Irvine Ranch Natural Landmarks. Come help us heal the wildlands across the landscape!
We will be working in the shade of the nursery located in close proximity to the parking area. Absolutely no experience or special equipment required!
Please note, advanced registration required, no walk-up registration is permitted.
