Join OC Parks staff and volunteers for our monthly program where art meets ecology! Come explore the natural world through the lens of creativity by creating your own animal painting.

In recognition of World Animal Day on Oct. 4, this month's activity will explore our local animals, the important roles they play in our environment and how we can help protect them. This fun and engaging program will include a brief talk, followed by a guided painting program. Each participant will paint and take home their own canvas.

Please note, if you have attended this program in the past, the 2026 painting will be different from previous years. We welcome you to attend again this year.

No experience required! Participants should wear clothing that they don’t mind getting paint on. Art supplies will be provided.

This program is designed for ages 14 and older.

The program and parking are free.
